#TopTip: Happy Employees = Successful Team

Want a thriving team?

Prioritise getting to know each person in your team on a deeper level – not just the ones you naturally get on well with. You’ll then be able to understand each individual’s goals and needs better, enabling you to support them better and create a positive work environment. And remember, a little effort goes a long way in building a team that truly thrives.

Recommended Read: Atomic Habits - James Clear

Hey, have you heard of Atomic Habits by James Clear? It’s a fantastic book I recently re-read after being diagnosed with ADHD. This time around, I picked up on some new ideas I didn’t fully grasp before.
One of these concepts is the importance of visibility in tracking progress. Clear suggests using marbles in a jar, which is great, but I found the sound of marbles hitting the jar irritating. So, I switched to using neon bouncy balls instead!
It’s been fun assigning different colours to different goals and watching the jars fill up. It reminds me of the star charts we used to have in school, but it’s been effective for me.
