Which ILM courses and qualifications does Delphinium offer?

With Delphinium you can study towards your ILM Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications in Leadership and Management.

Why should I study for an ILM qualification?

On completion of your ILM Qualification, you will receive a Certificate of Professional Achievement awarded by City & Guilds. This means you can study for an ILM qualification, safe in the knowledge that you are working towards achieving a globally recognised qualification.

How can I pay for my ILM course?

We offer a range of affordable payment options to ensure our ILM courses and qualifications are accessible to as many people as possible. Contact us to discuss which payment option may be the most suitable for you.

How will I learn?

We understand that people may prefer to learn in different ways. That is why we offer a range of study options for ILM qualifications, including face-to-face classroom sessions, virtual training sessions and online training via our e-learning platform.

What support does Delphinium offer to ILM students?

At Delphinium, all our learners are offered the following support:

  • A Learner Handbook detailing the course requirements, how to study, and how to write assignments
  • A programme induction to welcome you and introduce your tutor
  • Unlimited one-to-one tutor support via email

How will I be assessed?

Assessments are vital for checking your progress throughout the course. At the end of each module, you’ll complete a bite-sized assessment, a written work-based assignment or a presentation. The method and number of assessments will vary according to the modules you choose.

This continuous assessment ensures that your tutor can consistently monitor your progress and provide you with any assistance you may need when you need it.

How do ILM qualifications compare to other types of qualification?

The list below provides a rough idea of how ILM qualifications compare to other qualifications:

Level 3 – A-Levels, GCEs in applied subjects, Level 3 NVQs and Level 3 BTECs.

Level 5 – The second year of an undergraduate degree, a diploma of Higher Education, HNDs and BTEC Professional Diplomas, Certificates and Awards.

Will I need to take time off to study?

If you enrol on one of our live courses, you will be required to attend workshops between 9 am to 5 pm during the week. The number of workshops and frequency of the workshops will depend on the qualification and cohort start date. Most employers are accommodating when it comes to taking time off for vocational studies, where there is a direct link between your role and the course.

However, our online programmes are more flexible and enable you to manage your studies around your work and home life.

If you are unsure which would be best for you, contact us, and we will be happy to help you explore the options further.
